Currently available services

Off-campus visitors including alumni may use Medical Library under the following conditions

• User
  • Those who need materials at Medical Library for research and study
    *Not available for purpose of using seats only.
• Visiting hours
  • Weekdays from 9:00 am to 20:00 pm (until 17:00 in August and March).
• Details of use
  • Browsing materials (you can use only assigned reading seats of 1F)
  • Photocopying
  • Borrowing and returning (Please bring a driver's license or other identification that verifies your current address for borrowing materials.)
  • Using PC for search materials (OPAC, Ichushi-web)
• Entry
  • No-reservation are required.
  • Please check body temperature on thermal camera at entrance gate and push the intercom.
  • we open the gate, please fill out form at counter.
• Library user ID cards
  • Currently, Library user ID cards are not available. The cards will not be renewed or new ones issued.
  • For part-time lecturers etc., Medical Library will issue a card. Please check Seiryo campus users.

The use of visits may be discontinued without notice depending on the prevalence of new coronavirus infection.

For use without visiting

For materials held only at Medical Library, photocopying and ordering services are available.

• If you wish to request books from Medical Library, please apply through your institution's library or your local public library.

  • Please fill out the application form and fax(022-717-7982) or email it to us.
  • After receiving the application, you will be notified of the required amount, so please send the exact amount of the fee by registered mail. After receiving the fee, we will send you a copy.
  • Please be sure to pay the exact amount.
  • We try to respond promptly. Please be sure to clearly state information about the material and confirm the holding of the material in advance.

Books lending service

• If you wish to request books from Medical Library, please apply through your institution's library or your local public library.
